Intro to Knitting

Learn to knit in one sitting. Students will learn the basics - enough for a simple scarf. Students may continue on with Knitting 102 or anything they feel ready for!

Learn to knit in two sittings. This beginning option allows students to learn more basic skills and get comfortable with their knitting so that by the end of the second meeting, they may be ready to choose a first project.
Materials: worsted wool, size 8 needles.

♦Don't Be Left Out in the Cold: Intro to Sock Knitting

There is no charge for this class
Unravel the mysteries of sock knitting. Get a tour of sock yarns, needles, techniques, patterns, classes and how to get started. If you are fascinated by all those colorful yarns, but can't figure out why or how to knit socks, join us for this basic information session.

Beginning Crochet

Fee: $30
Learn crochet basics in a fun and relaxed setting. Students will learn the essential crochet stitches and techniques and will start on a simple project of their choice.
Materials: size G or H hook, practice yarn (basic worsted suggested).

Knitting with Nancy also offers many opportunities for learning new skills. Nancy welcomes both beginning knitting and crochet students into her workshops.
